Hatayspor has officially called on the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to lift the relegation penalty for this season, which would see them drop from the 1. Lig to the 2. Lig. The club's management emphasized that illegal betting and match-fixing allegations have seriously harmed Turkish football. Hatayspor stated that they have been fighting under difficult conditions since the February 6 earthquake, and this season has also been filled with injustices. They expressed their support for the call made by the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, arguing that lifting relegation across all leagues is crucial for the future of Turkish football. The club asserted that certifying this season without relegation is a legal and moral necessity. Hatayspor's management urged for the protection of justice in Turkish football and called for necessary actions to be taken in this regard.
